Cross Project Week Two

It has been several weeks since my time at the Cross Project finished but I haven't got round to blogging about it until now! Terrible I know.  Let me tell you that it was a fantastic experience and I was blown away by the kindness of the people I worked with. I thank God for providing such a fantastic experience and learning opportunity. In the second week there I had a great time doing lessons on who God is in Religious Education lessons. We taught about God as Creator, Saviour and Father. The children we shared this with were very curious about faith and asked some amazing question (sometimes very tough ones). I loved having the opportunity to share my personal experience of God and to try to help 14 year old young people understand more of how God loves each and every person. Doing this awakened a passion to evangelise more strongly than I have ever felt before. God showed me the importance of not putting His light under a bowl but on a lamp-stand for all to see.
I also spent some time with children who study English as an additional language. I loved helping them to understand different English words and spending time with kids form Poland and the Czech Republic was great! I loved asking them about their countries and the things they enjoyed doing. One boy I spent the most time with was a Harry Potter fanatic and was mortified that I prefer Lord of the Rings instead.

Once again, I just want to say what a great time I had and that I really appreciate the prayers you have said for me. God moved deeply in my heart and helped me to learn so much.
I look forward to seeing the Cross Project team again!
